Handcrafted Jewellery
Welcome to the website for all things handcrafted jewellery and
jewellery making. This is the place for all jewellery that is art
in its own right - free from the constraints of preconceived ideas.
All jewellery that screams originality and vision, and has an unconventional
yet sophisticated style.
This
website includes a range of work to buy from jewellery artists,
a handcrafted jewellery blogg - which is where I will be writing
about my trials and tribulations at silversmithing college, jewellery
designs, handcrafted jewellery ideas, images of jewellery created
and much more.
A wonderful place to read about jewellery and jewellery making
techniques. Handcrafted jewellery is an amazing and inspiring subject
and has endless possibilities. Creating unique handcrafted jewellery
with that extra special spark.
Many of my handcrafted jewellery designs are limited edition or
one-of-a-kind. This is because I think we all deserve to look unique
and have our own personal style. Throw away all your old mass produced
high-street jewellery, and replace it with expressive and inspired
handcrafted jewellery.
Another wonderful thing about handcrafted jewellery is that you
can create custom pieces. Maybe taking an aspect of a persons personality
and creating a piece of jewellery especially for them. Or if the
person in question has a hobby or interest - you could have a custom
piece created using this theme. Bespoke jewellery for that special
person will be a gift they never forget.
Any ideas you may have had about a piece of jewellery, that you
always wanted but never actually found. Well make that dream a reality
and have it made at Handcrafted Jewellery.
About me
Hi, my name is Lucie Maycock and I have created this website for
all things to do with handcrafted jewellery. All my experiences,
all the in’s and out’s of jewellery making, my jewellery
ideas and designs, custom pieces I have created and much more.
I started in the jewellery world by buying a lot of Peruvian Jewellery
and selling it on. I created a website called Jewellery Art and
bought more stock to sell on it. As time went on I started to make
my own jewellery to sell - just wire and bead work to start with.
I added all this jewellery to my website and crossed my fingers.
To my delight slowly but surly the jewellery started to sell. I
then decided that I would love to be able to do my own silver jewellery
- so I enrolled at silversmithing college. The rest as we say, is
history.
My handcrafted jewellery blogg will be about all my time at college,
what happens with the pieces I make, what has been difficult and
easy, and the pro’s and con’s of certain silversmithing
techniques. |
